Tony - < Paul Otellini's name mentioned in HP's search for a CEO to replace Lew Platt when he retires. Also, Compaq may be interested in him. Better sweeten the deal for him, or, is he next in line at Intel?>

Although I don't believe Intel has a formal line of accession, it has been speculated that Otellini would be a favorable bet as next in line behind Barrett.

I personally would not want to see Otellini go, but if he did, it would be interesting to know if he would try to incorporate "Intel Culture" into another company.
