I dont think this stock really cares its splitting, that it just struck a major deal with NBC, that its Snap portal was one of the fastesst growing site last month, that it introduced an exlusive service for high-speed users, that it will have more than 800 million in cash and securities soon, that the earnings blew the estimates, thats its peers trade at much higher market caps, that it has great growth potential, auctions, web shopping comparions, bla. bla..bla..

all it can see is what happened to SEEK after the DIS tie-up
SEEK is a lousy money losing operation, but the big boys wont see that
they've somehow tied CNET,XMCM, GE to SEEK,DIS.

that does not bode too well..can we see 80 ?
I just sold my calls..made little $..
dont like the way its behaving..
down in up markets,
just sinks in down markets
good luck to you.

<<<This stock is really splitting? I came aboard at $136 a couple of weeks ago and don't know if I should just sell and take a small loss. But if we are splitting, then maybe that will be good. hmmm

Ok u bought at $136 a few weeks ago... which means right before the 2-3 week period we just went through where every internet stock corrected 20-40%

Ok lets see... your RIGHT, CNET should of stood alone on its head and not fallen with the rest of them... what a bad stock we have here.

Hmm and then lets see... CNET went from $110 to $138 in 1 day, and now corrects on light volume for 2 days... and now is the time to sell and be impatient? Hmm... sometimes I wonder how people think in their investing. No offense to you, maybe you are right... but I am going to vote for the long side in this one....

One of the best run co. in the sector, profitable, nice new alliance, great niche only challenged by junky ZD, and sitting on its 20 day average after a big correction, tiny float, and running into a split in 2 weeks...

You have to separate out market influences from stock influences in your decisions. No internet stock is going to "outperform" in the market the past 3 weeks... unless it happens again in the next 2 weeks, CNET should have a stellar run coming up.

If your going to sell, sell now... so you dont kill any of our momentum in about a week ;)

Later,
Mark
