This is something to follow as well.... techstocks.com There is an article (an update), in Wired magazine about the Wired 40 Index. I don't have a link (I have the hard copy with me). They have a short comment saying: "Lucent's long expected $20 billion purchase of networking equipment maker Ascend Communications will keep it in the IP race, though Lucent-Ascend does not a Cisco make. Nokia-Lucent-Ascend, however..." Now... for the engineers out there... Don't start arguing with me about the technicalities of the above, as I am really ignorant of them.... So don't shoot me, I am just the messenger, if you have an argument to make, take it to Wired Magazine, I just copied it.
