True, some do. Luckily most of the people I know are smarter than that <g> 'I don't care what you call me, just show me the money!' But it seems to me that these numbers are less than worthless, they're deceiving. I would estimate that wage inflation, especially in technology fields, has been tremendous. It is not uncommon for people here in silicon valley to switch jobs and attain a 30-50% wage increase; more if they become a web consultant. Originally I thought these were being factored into the overall wage inflation numbers, but now I'm really worried about the inflation coming through the pipe.
