Can you believe that they were able to keep this from closing at 44??
Does this look like it was fixed or what??

Frank

I hope you're right .... I personally don't think were going to be off to the races until earnings come out. I think we will probably see more small gains between 1/2 - 2 pts a day. Unless the momo's get it going with some higher volume. It's anybody's guess though ...
but again I hope you are right ... I'm holding a bunch of May 45's and would really like to see it pop.

I think the headline PPI is expected to come in pretty high because of oil prices. It'll probably be higher than expected, IMO. However, I don't think there is any real expectation that the core rate excluding food and energy is going to be much to worry about at all. Off the top of my head, I can't think of anything that would have pushed the core rate out of line over the last month, so the numbers should be fine. I just hope we didn't get tomorrow's rally today and sell off tomorrow. Either way, a good core number and we will at least get a nice opening pop and the bond market has nowhere to go but up from here (price, not yield).

Web page still says earnings out on the 18th, not 13th. Any news here?
