t2K - LOL! I didn't see your post before I typed my last one.

Like I said, depends on how far you are looking. Personally, since I daytrade, it makes sense for me to pay attention to every little spike and valley, because I can react instantly. If you are not daytrading, I would not recommend trying to time very small moves - it is impossible, because events beyond control, and impossible to forsee can occur that you must be able to react to instantly (Rubin resignation today, was a good example).

Personally, I'm looking to see what the inflation numbers are like. I can react to them immediately. Otherwise, there is a slight upswing in MSFT, just based on today's trading (last 2 minutes especially). Of course if we get bad #, or something else unexpected occurs, all bets are off.
