I can't remember the exact timeframe but think it was a couple of years ago that AOL Instant Messenger had a Beta test of the IM phone. I had it until my system crashed and it was great, easy to use and fun to talk with friends all over the country. I tried to get it back but they had filled their quota for the beta test. :-( boo hoo. I kept thinkin they would bring it back but havent heard hide nor hair of it since. It was a very clear voice transmission and you didnt have to go thru all the shenanigans that you do with Netmeeting. Anyone ever used that or know what happened to it? regards, Dep
