Couple things come to mind...

What is the date on the MFC42.dll in the ..\Winnt\system32\ folder? Mine is '9/28/98' (NT4 SP4). Also, I'd check the size of the file. Mine is 995,383 bytes.

I find it curious that you have the same problem on BOTH laptops. Another avenue is to check with Dell to see if they have modified this to run on their notebooks.

Finally, what version of QCharts do you have? Mine is 2.2 b2. If less than that, re-download QCharts and see if that fixes it.

Finally if you have a recent version, on one of your other systems, click on the "Help" menu and select "Report a bug".
