OCLI, Optical Coating Lab up 14% today on higher volume. Earnings on May 20 (unconfirmed). Rowe Price's Athey singles out two small companies he likes. One is Optical Coating Laboratory (NASDAQ:OCLI - news) - Quotes (Nasdaq:OCLI - news), News (Nasdaq:OCLI - news), Boards (Nasdaq:OCLI - news) ), which designs, develops and manufactures multi-layer thin film coatings, which alter transmissions of lightwaves. Its products are used in telecommunications equipment, communications satellites, computer displays, photocopiers and printers, to name a few. Its stock, however, has more than quadrupled since last fall and now has a market cap of $749 million.
