I just got my tender paper today. I think they will get a truck load of those in coming weeks - either from shareholders or from arbs. They will likely get enough shares. The question, not just for this case but in general, is if after they've had enough tenders someone else raises the offer, how will that play out? Do people already tender have to offer the shares to Phillip?

IMHO, I will be surprised if Philips gets more than 20 % by June 1. If it fails and we get another quarter of good earnings from VLSI then VLSI will be at $ 30 by Fall!
