Sheila, Paid for posting? Not possible.

Who in their right mind would provide compensation for the type of commentary we've seen here? Who would risk their reputation and career? Imagine the humiliation of being found out? The person who came up with the idea would certainly be fired and likely end up having to work as a salesperson for used SyQuest drives or even worse, as an Assistant Multimedia Producer in New York City.

No, I can't buy the "pay for piss poor posting" theory. I believe there is a different and less obvious motivation here. What would you think of plan that couples occasional legitimate research with lame reasoning, frequent exaggeration, out of context information and continual irritating commentary? Could it be we're actually dealing with a closet Iomega bull? ...someone who is purposely attempting to diminish the bear argument by including unbalanced opinion?

Yeah, I think I've figured it out. The plan is to condition investors to associate negative Iomega information with a lack of intelligence via constant posting.

I think it's working. I've made the association.

Regards - Dale

Castlewood ORB Still #1 at PCMall!

The Parallel Port Castlewood 2.2 Gig ORB Drive has been the #1-selling overall product for a week now.

cc-inc.com

What can Iomega do about this situation? Will Iomega react? Whatever they do, it can only cost them lower margins and even bigger LOSSES. And don't Iomega Investors get sick and tired of putting their money in a company that merely REACTS to other products and companies, and doesn't INNOVATE?

In the world of technology, there are leaders and there are followers. Castlewood has introduced a low cost high quality 2+Gig removable drive that is blowing off the shelves at the #1 spot on the sales charts.

Castlewood is a leader. Iomega merely follows.
