Nicholas, to mis-quote an old saying, "If you have to ask, you can't afford C++". I.e, if you don't know the difference it implies that you have had limited experience with programming. This, in turn, means that VB is the only way to go. Also, if you are creating an low-volume commercial application or one for yourself, VB is the ONLY way to go. I'm very rusty with C++, but I've coded with it. I still chose VB. C++ is the only language to use if you want to create a production application that you want to shrink-wrap and sell in fairly high volume. But, the "cost" is a steep learning curve. If you are a C++ "whizzy" then you'd probably choose C++. Of course, then you probably wouldn't have to ask the question! 8-) Frankly if you've done any coding before and are committed, you can get up to speed with VB. Good luck. Regards, Dan.
