Unfortunately we've heard that for three years now and the natives are getting restless. In that time many less speculative stocks have doubled, tripled, sextupled. Big, huge, safe names like MSFT (our wager is still on) IBM, Lucent, heck even Home Depot. And numerous little startups have skyrocketed. It's always next year, and when next year is this year it's next year once again.

You even stated that it's not 1999, but 2000. Well then, why invest now? Why NOT wait until 2000?

I still believe that JMAR could take off but when it does it won't be a rocket, it'll be a Geo Metro climbing a big hill at high altitude so if it does ever get some legs we'll all have a chance to get in with plenty of time to spare.

FWIW,
M

I can tolerate the loss in the first quarter. I understand the need to ramp up R&D.

The paragraph where Martinez stated that they are revising downward the $34 million revenue for 1999 is troubling me the most. That felt like a big blow. It means they are poor salesmen.

It also means that if they have a dynamite x-ray product, they may be incapable of selling it.

I hope JMAR recognizes this very serious shortcoming and acknowledges that they have a problem and do some joint ventures immediately.
