When Cisco delivers against the promise of a 45Gbps core, it will have window when it will win some nice contracts. When and if this happens, wont incumbent suppliers have the edge as it is extremely unlikely a core will be swapped out with another vendor considering the extensive hardware and training/service/support and software issues? I thought timing was everything. At least it was last year when ASND was struggling to beat CSCO, NN, and Bay to the punch.
