Something about that statement smells fishy, kind of like IBMs "earnings (mostly service & lotta stock buybacks) increases" in the past few quarters.

20 billion in revenues came from internet related business. The others are the internet stocks, the Yahoos, amazons etc.

I purchased IBM back in April of "95". Turned out to be the one of the best investments I've made. One subject that I haven't seen mentioned here is that AT&T's Michael Armstrong is a 31-year veteran of IBM. How do others see synergies between these two companies going forward?
