The scenario that you outline does seem to make sense. The size of the transaction seemed completely out of context and the initial thought I had was that a balancing between MM's could have been the cause. But I also would not expect it to hit the time and sales without special codes used for that purpose. Since the stock had closed at well above the sell price it seems that your logical explanation merits attention from the viewpoint of an all-or-none transaction. I guess we will never know what caused this since the stock PLCOP seems to have recovered nicely.
