The Borders.com site is, IMO, much harder to use, and much slower. Also, much less information about books. Amazon has, IMO, done a superb job of showing what a web site should be. Great company. Absurd stock price! And just because I think Borders is an underpriced stock and will make me money by going up is no reason to use what I consider their inferior product!

That's cool.

I live, ran my company, and went to school around Ann Arbor, so I feel a special connection to BGP. However, I don't get emotionally attached to any stock. I still have BGP from 1995 for which my cost was 8 7/16. I'm holding on to it.

I buy books from buy.com. Why? Because they are cheaper than everyone. It's the new retail age where convenience is similar between the retailers, selection is similar, customer service is similar (sucks for everyone I have ever dealt with online), so price is the only differentiating factor. No customer loyalty at all. In my opinion, this will be AMZN's downfall. You live by the sword and you die by the sword.
