The ambiguity that E*Trade spouts regarding IPO allocatios is not hard to figure out. I certainly wouldn't pull Muler or Scully off of their important work to handle this little problem.

If E*Trade is specific with regards to their rules....then when they make a mistake they become liable/responsible.

On the other hand if E*Trade is totally ambiguous....then they have no responsibility for their errors.

This is a booming biz and they simply cannot keep up with ANY aspect of their biz...trades, cust. svc., IPO's etc.etc.etc.etc.

I am equally as frustrated as the rest of you, however, I can clearly see why E*Trade is doing what they are doing.
