it is fine for less than CD sound quality - but not fine for the recording company/artist because it is not secure - they cannot protect their royalty($$$) rights

Why MicroOS is needed? cCAPSLOCK, You will have to pardon my laziness... I'm just getting tired... When you get right down to it, the MicroOs is not absolutely needed; BUT, if one had it, it would give them a huge advantage. The following links, I feel, cover the subject pretty well...
