f: Yeah I was away for a bit too. At first I thought EBAY was being hit by shorts (Im sure it was; they luv ebay @200). Then I thought well DOT has hit resistance in 662-4 area (it did). But I was definitely surprised by the extent of the drop in NDX and Naz comp. The DOW was up solidly -- thanks I guess to IBM, not the cyclicals. Transports were off. And bonds rallied. So go figure. Im sure a lot of the data junkies are trying to read the tea leaves as we speak. So I dunno. Thanks for the drink. I'll take a double jack d. with a mug o dark ale. What's good do U think?? M2 EDIT: SWS has really been a nice performer. But my favorite trade 2-day was more CYMI @20 1/2. I like it near term (always liked it long long term!) M2

f: Well, you must be pretty smashed by now! Two buckets of beer and now a double??? Stop losses are tough. I used to use mental stops, but once I started dealing with NUTZ, I needed a bit more control. Same with limit orders - I use them more than market orders now. Once I was up a point on CSCO, I put in a stop at 119-1/4 just so I didn't go away empty handed. Today was the first day of the BO - they're tough. Many TAs wait until the confirmation day to buy, but the market seemed strong this morning so I hopped in, but was ready to hop back out if things got ugly. Although it looked convincing on the surface, there was an important factor missing on TLAB's BO - VOLUME!!!! It wasn't there. At any rate, no, I would not "chase" TLAB - one of the reasons I set the limit order so low. I won't be around tomorrow so I have no plans to buy anything. K
