Now that is a good chart to look at!

Really you speak more of accounting and purchasing aspects of SAP. Given WSTLs history for snafus on prototype procurements, i am sure SAP won't help in that area much.

In 6 mos. sales might be meaningful, so hopefully the problems are history by then, for all those long-timers. Me, I go for a few days
(and if disaster awaits in the FY99 rpt), a few weeks. Revs. aren't going up much from what I heard so, I hope the co. can sugar-coat this one. Lord knows, they don't know how to do this if you remember last year's pre-announcement.

MB,

I just got an internal mail detailing this Westell/SAP stuff. Good job painting the in-outs of the SAP world. The success of R/3 is heavily driven on proper management of the implementation cycle. Since Trey is the expert on WSTL and their management techniques, I will leave him to gage weather this will be successful or not. :- ))

Other SAP customers:
LU, Alcatel, DT, France Telecom, Siemens, (insert energizer rabbit here).

Hey MB… do you think R/3 makes WSTL a more attractive potential acquisition candidate? For example, companies like the LU's or Alcatels??? It seems to me two companies running the same system can sync up fairly quickly if they wanted to.

I have always suspeceted that SAP installations are also done in part to facilitate being bought out. Interesting that ALA is on SAP.... Just speculating, but we got bought 6 mo. after going live.

Regards,

Dave
