Henry-

Thanks for the scouting report. Now that you mention it, a TDFX deal does make perfect sense. Perhaps some kind of bundling of THQ games with Voodoo graphics boards?

Some kind of deal with them would make sense, considering:

·Historical relationship between GameFX and TDFX
·Appointment last week of TDFX CEO as THQ director
·Today's alliance b/w AKLM and NVIDIA

Yes. It would make perfect sense. That's my bet for strategic alliance.

If not a bundling agreement (which is less likely), then it might be an information sharing, product co-development, co-marketing strategic alliance. GameFX would have special access to next generation TDFX technology, prior to its release, so that THQ titles could be optimized for TDFX hardware. The only risk, as I see it, is if TDFX falls behind the other graphics companies, and THQ is stuck with a loser. But as long as THQ titles will work well with other companies' graphics boards, we'll be okay.

This could be a nice way to finally launch the PC business for THQ.

And what ever happened to the OEM bundling of Sinistar and Brunswick?

And what about Broken Sword 2?

Todd

Henry, I agree with you for Shao Lin. I found the graphic is less impressive than Tekken III. I had Tekken III and love its graphic but the gameplay is kind of easy. The RPG (Tekken mode) is too simple too. I think THQ spend the time "tweaking" the RPG elements instead of graphic.

Looks like we may see 28s today... as soon as Wedbush release the $27 15/16 ask.

Henry,

Since you mentioned having followed the industry since the 70's, I was wondering...did you own an Amiga computer? If so, what were the companies that impressed you the most back then?
