I don't disagree with your reasoning.
I just claim that the worth less is very small, hence ratio converge to 6!!!
Which should push PLCOP closer to $8 than to $3.
But I completely disagree with the last part.
This is obviously wrong.
Why if PLCO increases in value considerably in the near term, then
the likehood of being at this price in December decreases ?
If a stock is high now, will it be more probably lower later ?
This does not make any sense.
Ask Bill Gates about it.
I even think that some analysis would tend to argue the contrary.
Then PLCOP should go to the moon, not to the toilets.
Let me give you this argument:
let's say for example, that
I think the company will be worth a capital of $300MM end of December
because they are doing a great job, opening new stores,
fantastic increases in revenues and achieving presence on the
internet. Then even if they issue more stock, let's assume that
PLCO will be worth $3 by end of December.
Now, if this is your bet, how much would you pay for PLCOP TODAY?
Would you wait it goes to $15 ?
:)

I agree with your first comment. There is no advantage to PLCOP if it equals 6 X PLCO, so there will be less demand for it as it approaches that price.

What concerns me is what effect dilution will have on the price of PLCO when the P's convert. I know that's a ways off, but with so much more common shares the price WILL be affected.
