This might be the reason they did the GEC deal. Maybe GEC turned a blind eye to this kind of shenanigans. If the insiders agrandized themselves at the expense of regular shareholders then taking a better offer from another company then there are definitely problem for the board and the deal in general.

I too have tendered my shares but had I known of this I would not have done so. Odd that this matter should surface a few days after we have all received our tenders in the mail.
