To All, Rolls Royce declared bankruptcy in 1971. I knew that they had gone belly up, but when challenged by Edamo, who swore no such thing had ever occured, I couldn't remember when. This is one hard co. to research and, surprise, the bankruptcy does not rate a mention on any of their web pages or corporate materials.

However, I got lucky and "Which luxury car mfr. declared bankruptcy in 1971," was a question on "Win Ben Stein's Money" today. And folks tell me that watching Comedy Central is rotting my mind. <g>
