Anyone who isn't careful[another word for suspicious, but not negative] shouldn't be buying stock.However ,we may be wrong[hard to believe!] but we think every sale and buy is double entered by MMs so cut your volumes inhalf.Still it would be interesting if MMs are short the stock.But do you know at the date you started your calculations whether they where long the stock and have just unwound their position.Just a plausible explanation.Conspiracy theories always bloom when a stock drops in price.
