SO: My signal for the NDX was sell at yesterday's close.

It will change into a buy if it closes above yesterday's close, or if we get the BK today.

StockOperator,

You have seen enough of my posts to realise that I dont just look at
absolute numbers or just a trend, and as you say a contrarian trend
since OCT. I look for quick changes or I should say rate of change.

I look for anomolies which may or may not turn into something bigger.
If the A/D does not improve from those levels, forget about the market since I dont think the market can still go up with 2000+ decliners. ggggggggggggg Only a joke

SO, it is interesting to note that there is no wholesale dumping of internet stocks to be seen...so far. while the are all weak, volume is low and the portal leader YHOO is more or less unchanged. if buying in these issues emerges after the bond market closes it would be a very encouraging sign. on the other hand, if they break down further i'd be on red alert.
