Thanks for the note on volume, Heinz - as mentioned in my earlier post, I see this level (1340 S&P) and the 2540 Nasdaq as key for the current uptrend. The low volume might indicate that we'll hold...

But the Nasdaq is only doing a dead-cat bounce off the morning fall, and really needs to close higher.

I think that volumes will jump if we break down from here - and would indicate to me that we have seen the highs for awhile. Where is a good place to check volume trends? (herzl. Dank im Voraus)

Same could be said for IBM. As much as I hate to admit it, cause I'm holding putz, I see more large block buying than selling. Current level is very important.

heinz,

I agree many of the nutz are sitting at critical support on their charts. So this may turn out to be a fantastic way to affect the sentiment indicators that I know you follow so well. That meeting on Tuesday will really tell the story. As I said in a previous post I thought the markets were about to take us for a "ride," one way or the other.

Hey, btw how many Dow points do you think a change in bias by the FED would be worth. Just curious.

Regards,

SO

I've been thinking about the internut situation wrt to the market. It seems to me the healthiest thing that could happen to the market is a large rotation out of the nuts, into bonds and value stocks. I don't understand the logic that says the market can't move higher without the nuts leadership.
