Enough HOT AIR! THE 450 Mhz K6-III was $315 yesterday but the delivery was T.B.D. TODAY there is inventory and the Price is $226. AMD now supply now exceed OEM demand. The price to large OEMS for this part has always been less than $226. There are now just enough parts for the rest of us that but through little distributors. The K6-2 500 Mhz is still not available from distributors. The Price of this part non-avabilable part is $439. Paul? How much will this 500Mhz part drop when it is available?

EARTH TO PAUL. EARTH TO PAUL. Ever heard of PRICE DROPS?????? Intel dropped the price of some of its processors by up to 35%! I don't see you babbling and whining and complaining and acting like the sky is falling over that! Did it ever come to you that the K6-3 450 is NOW AVAILABLE. After too long of a time, they are NOW AVAILABLE! That is an obvious good. And the reason the price dropped so much is because they weren't available before yesterday (it seems) so they had to go with the price they expected it to be when the chip came out. Did that realization ever come to you. I can make the same claim as you have done with the BIG price drop on pricewatch the 550 PIII will have when it comes out. Will you babble, whine, and complain about that? JEEZ!
