Scumbria,

That is good in theory but I would be strung up if I denied my family college football games in the fall. (check my profile and you'll understand) <gggg> When I don't want my kids to watch the tube I turn on CNBC on that always sends them running!! Also, after the second one who has time for TV anyway. <gg>

Have a great weekend!!

Take Care

Ann

"The principle behind the TV is the vacuum tube. You stick your head in it, and it sucks your brains out."

From "Desert Solitare" by Edward Abbey

Of course, now you can have a flat screen LCD display or a projection set so this quote is no longer entirely accurate. Besides, there's a lot of good stuff on Discover, The Learning Channel and PBS. Probably a quarter of my TV time, and half of my non-movie time, is spend on these channels. The rest is spent on Dilbert, Home Movies, King of the Hill, and Futurama.

I haven't decided if I like Home Movies yet. It's pretty weird (and this is coming from a Monty Python/Brazil/12 Monkeys/Pulp Fiction fan).
