Please, it is posts like this that CAUSE the SEC to consider halting trading of stocks.

The SEC protects people FROM buying a stock, not AFTER they buy. That's the whole idea of a HALT... to make sure those who OWN STOCK are not able to sell it. That's the WHOLE IDEA behind the SEC's M.O.
