Tom, thanks for the news clip (it was part of the package AXC just sent me). I must admit that we are in a new era of corporate "metrics", I am used to attempt evaluations in such metrics only when I deal with start ups (I do some work for VC evaluating new technological start ups), I just do not feel comfortable using the same metrics for an ongoing entity which must preserve its "base" of operations and simultaneously spread into new fields. For the time being, I think I will observe the technical behavior more that the fundamentals, that, only because of my own shortcomings in analyzing the complexity of this opportunity.

Good luck.

Zeev

I mentioned this company before, and was wondering if TVW, would be used for what they are offering. I tend to speculate on the answers as I can understand the idea, but not the technology.
so thought I'd better ask.

Here is more info regarding LZMCF. I am not recommending company as it trades on OTCBB, however I was wondering if this is the kind of company TVW will be marketing to.

Didn't know what to cut out of article.

stockhouse.com

Easy write up on LZMCF for us tonight as we thought we would pass along some VERY interesting observations on LZMCF from an astute reader:

I just visited the new actfit.com website. It's been fine-tuned even more. In the enrollment form, I noticed they "announced" they are soon starting an online
travel service and will soon be offering thousands of health and fitness products.

Also very interesting about the www.actfit.com website:

1) Banner Ads for American Airlines are running almost non-stop on various parts of the site, yet no deal beyond the Ms. Rio contest has been
announced.

2) If Lasermedia intends to start up an online travel service, then why are the locations they mention on their questionnaire all places to where
American Airlines flies to? I haven't checked this out yet, but it appears there may be some cooperative effort between AA and LZMCF for an online
travel joint venture. I think something must be in the works because the company would not even acknowledge my questions about AA.

As we can see from their recent work,

a. Nabbing a deal with Broadcast.com
b. Getting AA as an advertiser
c. Getting the Rio Hotel/Casino for their 2nd event
d. Getting the Baywatch producer to join the Advisory Board,

they obviously have some major connections.

Channel idea for Dave G.

I keep circling back to the idea that it would be great for TVW to come up with a "killer channel", in the same way a "killer app" can make a software company. Such a channel must fit the following criteria:

1) Appeal to a broad audience (I know, we are talking narrowcasting here, but "narrow" is a relative term)

2) Have content that comes "preloaded" with instant name recognition

3) Appeal to an audience that already uses the internet heavily, to allow "early adoption"

4) Draw daily hits i.e. content is such that viewers come back daily (if not more often) for content.

There are lots of fine minds on this board- can we help TVW come up with some ideas for such a "killer channel". Allow me to begin-

Personal finance channel:

Underwriter: possibilities are endless, some options include brokerage firms, financial news networks (e.g. Bloomberg), etc.

Content: get the Motley Fools on! They are not too far from TVW headquarters, I believe, and have a history of jumping on the technological train well before the rest of the financial world for getting their message out. If this could be done, MAJOR COUP. Other possible content- radio airwaves are filled with "financial experts" that actually pay radio stations to get on air, to increase their business, and their shows do pretty well. How about early morning "premarket" show?- Subchannels would evolve pretty quickly- CNNfn and Bloomberg are heavily watched each AM, but are limited by their broad audience; they must cater to too many watchers at the same time. Much better to be able to target tech sector, internet sector, Dow, health care stocks, bonds, futures/options, overseas markets etc., with breaking news/commentary/analysis on each of these areas. May other possibilities.

This channel fits criteria pretty well- appeals to broad audience, content should have name recognition (especially if outfit of Motley Fool brand status is involved), would appeal to audience that already uses internet heavily, and would lead to heavy, daily traffic.

Any other ideas?
