Barb - (It is interesting to note (from a purely partisan point of view) that Mr. Paul was the Libertarian candidate for President in 1988.)

But Libertarians are not partisan, but principled (proven by an unmatched record of election success -g-). With a primary principle being that neither Republicans, nor Democrats, nor even Libertarians, but especially not appointed purposeful bureaucrats can be trusted with the exercise of the virtually unlimited power of the state.
