I do not want to find extra terrestrials and it is my fervent hope that they do not find us. Think of how humans have acted in the past when they "colonized". Do you want to meet a more advanced "colonizing" species? I do not believe enough thought is devoted to this aspect of potential alien interactions. I suspect peaceful thoughtful species probably stay home contemplating their navels (the Budhist monks of the universe) while the ones we would meet out wandering the galaxy would be more like Attila. I think we should be doing everything possible learning "How Not To Be Seen".
