Warning for options holders: Waterhouse just ate 2/3 of my money in some LEAPs bought last summer (2000 90s - calls of course (QLXWAR)). They 'rolled me over' (I'm thinking 'rolled' is not the correct verb here) under their own initiative to some supposedly newer options which have the same description (Jan 2000 90s (QAAWAR)) but are in no way equivalent as they are post split, post spin off. They seem to not understand the fact that these are in no way equivalent options and I spent considerable time being told I did not know what I was talking about. Although I've finally found someone who admits that there is something fishy happening, it is not yet clear that they know how to fix the problem or that they have the power to do so. And the people who do have the power do not seem to understand the problem. Should be interesting to see how it is fixed.

In any case, check you options regularly.

FWIW
