David B, to find evidence of Digital River involvement on Dell website, go to Gigabuys, and click on "Software on Demand" button. A script comes up advising that you are leaving Gigabuys and going to a site owned and operated by Digital River.

Perhaps there is no p.r. on the DELL/DRIV relationship because DRIV could be paying DELL in order to operate the software on demand store. Dell has posted the following disclaimer on the DRIV site: (jmo)
The site is owned and operated by Digital River, Inc. for Gigabuys. Digital River, Inc. is the seller of the products downloaded
from this site. Dell is not responsible for the conduct or operations of Digital River, Inc.

Go to Gigabites again...

David, press the hot spots for "Software". You will get a popup window that says "You will be transferred to Digital River, is that OK?"
