I had a brief conversation with a friend of mine about AOL. My question was what do you think about AOL lately ? The only comment was that everyone was buying it. They all had to buy it. Growth funds emerging growth funds, Foreign funds, International funds, just all the funds are buying it. Now telling this to the informed people of this thread is old news. Somewhere a while back I read here on this thread that AOl is owned by somewhere in the vicinity of %70 to %80 by institutions.
My little curiosity is...Does any one know how many mutual funds are owning this stock right now? and is it good or bad that so many institutions own it and not individuals like us here on the thread?
I thought it was good that so many more institutions were buying it. Its also the reason for all the wild swings because they all sell in together.
Oh well I mostly do cheerleading on my AOL but it seemed like a positive comment on our stock. Thanks for your opinions.
