Hi wily,

The reasons I like the HX-08 are:

Screw holes: Perfectly lined up everywhere. That's a rarity.

Full tower: A lot of room to work with. 5 5/14 drive bays, 2 spots in the rear, plus 3 1/2 spots at the bottom.

Metal used: Smooth, sturdy...many cases use cheap metal that folds away easily and is sharp at points and if you're not careful (even if you are) you'll chop your hand up nicely.

Motherboard backing: The way it pulls out is quite nice. Not much more to say there.

Power Supply: The 300 watt model is fantastic. Never had a single problem with it.

Air movement: The fan locations are good. 2 at the top to blow across 1 or 2 high speed H/D's with good air flow in the rest of the case.

Not much more to add about it. It doesn't look like any of the SuperMicro cases I looked at, although they're pretty good too. Especially the higher end models.

Cheers,

Rich
