I use national discount brokers. They charge a huge fee for trades over 5000 shares. So when I want to make a trade on a penny stock for say 50,000 shares I have to put the order in 5000 share increments paying only 20 bucks for the entire trade. It's a hassle.

I do not day trade very often but if I were to buy and sell the same stock multiple times in one day I would only pay one fee for the buy and one fee for the sell no matter how many times I trade the same equity. Hope this helps
