Actually, BIOM looks great today. Almost all of the ASCO plays gapped down big today, even IMCL which had a couple of very nice bits of news this morning. BIOM, however, gapped up very convincingly.

The "sell on news crowd" was predicatble without the NY Times article today, but I honestly believe we're staying in last week's range (5 1/4 - 5 1/2) because of continued expectations for that article. Tomorrow is the Science Times feature, and I think a lot of traders will come in later in the day for that possibility.

Given some good volume and some big PR, this morning's action demonstrated that all those $8-10 predictions (for the Times article) are not off-base.

On a totally seperate note...someone told me a rumor that Merril is raising it's price target on BIOM to $20. Is this total speculation, or can someone confirm this?
