I can't recall where ownership in the core has translated into ownership much less even a market share leading position on the edge. Voice and video QoS over a common vendor platform is MUCH easier to sustain. You cant recall this because QoS has never been an issue until the current migration to a digital data backbone. CSCO is so stubborn in working with a common interface the edge is going get get sick of their shit and start replacing them LU, NT, ALA, etc..
