On trading profits ...

Mikey, giving one's time and effort back to those from whence one came is one of the most rewarding endeavors in life.

But aside from that, when trading profits become onerous ... one can also make a contribution whether it is to the MIT Alumni Fund or to some fund abroad. Three birds with one stone ... relief from taxes, contribution writeoff, and your hard-earned $$ going where it will do the most good accordingly as you so desire. Check it out with a CPA.

And you might make the contribution in the name of ancestors such that they will be remembered in time immemorial. After all, who there would know who a "Judy" or "Michael" are?
