HWP reported that PC revenue growth was indeed strong, but this growth was concentrated in the Home PC market. Commercial desktops did not grow at all. HWP perversely benefited from its low penetration in the commercial area; the flat growth didn't affect the top line too much. Other companies that have greater exposure to the commercial desktop may be vulnerable. DELL's numbers this afternoon take on much greater importance.
