Lucius, I agree entirely with your synopsis and I, also, hope that MSFT and the DOJ settle. But the fact remains that the trial has already been priced into the stock and future trading in this security (from an institutional perspective especially) is mostly unaffected by the current day to day progress of the trial. A settlement would have a different effect, obviously.

The current trading pattern in MSFT's stock is historically predictable and good for the long term health of the stock.

The end to this consolidation is near (IMHO).

Teflon
