Hi Judy , It is so nice to find another great mind ( vbg ) that thinks sce stocks are full of potential. I have been " all eyes " on amat for 3 weeks now. I agree on your thought about wiating for AMAT's earnings (after the close on 5/18) and /or waiting for the BTB ( 3:est on 5/19 ). But really now girl - just what is you gut feel for amat calls at 12:35 on 5/18.(tomorrow) I think the casual observor should wait but then I think ????? IBM - BLOW OUT NVLS - Beat their number Lam - trim their loss Gateway - nice growth Dell ?? we'll know tomorrow KLAC - surprised and beat their number AMAT - Up at the close after a nasty 2-3 week or is it weak period Me thinks the 800 pound gorilla blows out the numbers and should be played before the BTB is posted or AMAT's actual for that matter. Its just a crazy risk obsession I enjoy when the noise exceeds the actual track record of leaders in a similar sector. JMHO Greatly admire your observations and really feel good to see you in my camp. Thanks for the confirmation. P.S. I bet your long before the close on wed. HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!!! Bob
