Ausdauer, re "That will never happen. Never again." Good. Very good. Excellent!

And a crying shame too. It was so pleasant a thought that you might someday own SNDK. I could have said to my friends, "I used to trade email with that Ausdauer guy all the time. Of course, now that he's the CEO of a $billion company that he bought with massive leverage, we don't talk nearly as often".

Excessively leveraged people never have time to sleep. I hope that you sleep with the angels, and wake with a smile for all of your life. I'll just have to settle for having an email buddy who is merely "stinking rich" from his well-tempered investment strategy.

Aus,

Great reporting... Remember that Eli called out to the entire audience, "Where's Ausdauer with his Hush Puppies!"

This really happened. Eli and many of the SNDK folks read this thread. I don't blame them. Lots of good stuff here.

Rex

*** The MMC in MP3 players is taking off ***
*** The MMC in MP3 players will be bigger than the CF in Digicams ***

This was a huge message that you forgot. Many Asian device makers are coming out with their players. Many of the insiders were telling me that they wished they weren't locked out from buying during the October trip to $5 per share, knowing the mp3 buzz had started.

In 2 years we will know SNDK as the company that makes MMC cards for mp3 players. Oh, and by the way, they make CF cards for digital cameras.
