Ynot. . .where are you finding all these foreign companies? NKCI"F" means foreign. TSE=Toronto and OTC means it is probably a Canadian OTC, which I don't trade those, due to the extraordinary number of scams in the OTC arena from Canada. It appears that the new thing for the Canadian penny scammers is to find a domicile outside of Canada. . probably due to their own reputation. . . Accounting methods in ANY foreign country often differ from our own GAPP. . .so often DD can get confusing. . .also, the location of the company discourages our calling, since we would be dialing overseas. . . then when it comes to our regular "investigative" DD. . .like calling the company's suppliers, clients and competitors or asking to see the product or visit places of business, like we do here in the U.S. . . .it often just gets blown off, due to the difficulty and/or proximity. That's the main reason we don't bother with them. . . You know there are hundreds of stocks that make good gains and just as many losers. . .so if we pass on a stock, due to unnecessary added risk. . .there will be plenty of others that are less risky. If you notice the sort of OTC I play, most all of them have a long history in the same business. . .some as long as 20 years. . .they always report to SEC on time. . .most are profitable. . .they have deals of some sort with top name companies that are verifiable. . .and often their products or services can easily be checked out, since we can go where they sell company products and talk to salesmen, or visit company stores or talk to clients that receive the services. . .etc. This is important, because it all but eliminates any scam risk. Remember, I believe that 90 percent of the OTC is worthless and 9 percent is clueless. Rande Is
