Which doesn't make any sense, since the two don't have products that compete against each other. If anything S1 need CheckFree more than ever, since travelers is owned by M&I, of course they could outsource to CitiBank.

Since I haven't seen the article, I can't say that you have miss quoted it... but Checkfree and S1 are partners just as S1 is also a partner ( loose terms--agreements) of Transpoint. The article (if it does say that ) is wrong
