i've made money off the 'nets (going long, for the most part), the comparisons to the radio plays of the 20s and railroads of the 1900s are very interesting...check out the charts of the railroads, which would go up multiples in *one day* - and not for the $10 shares, but for the $100... then ignore the people who say the stock market has 'never seen anything like this'

having said that, however, most of the 'nets have their payments predicated on other 'nets. i'm not calling it anytime in the near future, but if a couple companies start defaulting on their payments, it could have a serious domino effect...
