Hiya Donald! (aka "world traveler") TO ALL...............

My SI subscription has expired and they have sent me a VERY cheerful request to renew (read "send us money") to which I have declined to do for several reasons. I refuse to support a business that, IMO, winks at the shameless bashing of some posters but suspends those who get angry because of it (like me). While SI Bob could care less about what I think, I DO have the power over whether or not I send SI my hard earned money.

At this point I am inclined to NOT do so, which is the only way I have to vent my displeasure at SI for their seeming "one sided" enforcement of the rules. Perhaps if enough people "just say no" at renewal time, the reduction in income WILL get their attention. After all, they get paid for their banner ads based on how many subscribers and "hits" they get on their site. Fewer hits, fewer advertising dollars. Ain't free enterprise great?

I have enjoyed posting and the association with you fine folks here (well, at least with most of you), and maybe I'll renew sometime in the future. For now, at least, I'll keep posting until I can't, and then it's off to Raging Bull. Good Luck to all PABN stockholders! It's been quite a ride!

P.S. Wanna' hear a "really far out" theory? Let me start by saying this is ONLY a theory, and I couldn't say if before because I would have been kicked off SI, but now I don't care.

This makes sense (sort of) as to why jhild seems to have a charmed life here. Here are two facts: 1) jhild bashes stocks on SI. 2) SI makes a business of renting space to posters who want to discuss all forms of stock (and almost anything else), but couldn't the friendly folks at SI ALSO have positions in stock? OF COURSE! Nothing wrong with that, .........is there? But suppose SI has positions in certain stocks and hired jhild to try and manipulate the price "downward" at times when it was in their best interest to buy back in?

Wild? Crazy? Full of it? You must admit it is ONE possible explanation as to why jhild is still here. As I said, this is a THEORY and I don't have ANY proof. It's just a "hunch" or maybe a "gut feeling." An IMO sort of thing. OK, that's it, the soap box gets put away. Good Luck to all!
